SPX

A transport layer networking protocol, Sequenced Packet Exchange, that is part of Novell's NetWare protocol suite. It operates on top of the Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) protocol, providing connection-oriented services for data transmission between network nodes. SPX provides sequenced, acknowledged packet delivery, similar to the function of TCP in the TCP/IP suite.
