A command that reverses the last action performed within a software application, restoring the state that existed immediately before that action. Most programs maintain a history of recent operations, permitting the user to reverse a sequence of multiple changes. The standard keyboard shortcut for the undo command is Control+Z in Windows and Command+Z in macOS, while the corresponding redo command is typically Control+Y or Command+Shift+Z.
