Receiving Waters

1. Lakes, rivers, wetlands, coastal waters, and groundwaters that receive runoff.

2. Creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, estuaries, ground-water formations, or other bodies of water into which surface water and/or treated or untreated waste are discharged, either naturally or in man-made systems.

3. A river, lake, ocean, stream, or other body of water into which wastewater or treated effluent is discharged.

4. Rivers, lakes, oceans or other bodies that receive treated or untreated waste waters.

5. All distinct bodies of water that receive runoff or wastewater discharges, such as streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, and estuaries.

6. Natural or man-made water systems into which materials are discharged.

7. A river, lake, ocean, stream or other watercourse into which wastewater or treated effluent is discharged.

8. Include groundwater, creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, or other water bodies that receive treated or untreated wastewater or stormwater. This also includes water from combined sewer systems and storm drains.
