Alligator clip

A spring-loaded electrical connector with serrated jaws, resembling an alligator's mouth, used for making temporary electrical connections. It provides a secure grip on terminals, wires, or components for testing, prototyping, or charging applications. These clips are commonly insulated with plastic or rubber sleeves to prevent accidental short circuits.
