Belt track

The path or alignment followed by a conveyor belt or power transmission belt as it moves over pulleys or rollers. Maintaining a correct belt track prevents the belt from rubbing against the frame, slipping off the pulleys, or becoming damaged. Misalignment can lead to premature wear of the belt and associated components, requiring adjustments to idlers or pulley positions.
