Christmas tree

A mast or vertical array on a vessel fitted with multiple navigation lights and signal shapes. The arrangement allows for the display of specific light combinations to indicate the vessel's status, such as being underway, at anchor, engaged in fishing, or restricted in its ability to maneuver. These configurations are mandated by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs).
