In series
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002994
A configuration of electrical components where they are connected end-to-end along a single path, so the same current flows through each component. The total voltage across components in series is the sum of the individual voltages, and the total resistance is the sum of the individual resistances. This arrangement is common in Christmas lights and voltage dividers.
