A communication model where information is sent directly from a source device to a receiving machine without intermediate human interaction. Device-to-Machine communication is a subset of machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, focusing on the unidirectional or bidirectional data flow between an endpoint and a processing system. This model is applied in systems for remote monitoring, automated control, and data logging in industrial settings.
