Spot beam

A focused, high-power radio frequency signal transmitted from a satellite or antenna, covering a relatively small geographical area on Earth. This concentrated energy provides higher signal strength and data rates within its coverage zone compared to a broad beam. Spot beams are commonly used in satellite communication systems for targeted services, such as direct broadcast television or high-speed internet access to specific regions.
