Describing a state where a system, component, or process has encountered an error or is operating outside its specified parameters. An errored condition indicates a malfunction or an unacceptable deviation from normal behavior, often requiring intervention or correction. In telecommunications, an errored second is a one-second interval during which at least one bit error occurs.
