Fireball

A large, incandescent sphere of burning gas and vapor that forms rapidly during a catastrophic event, such as an explosion involving flammable liquids or gases. This phenomenon releases intense heat and light over a short duration. The size and duration of a fireball depend on the quantity and type of fuel involved.
