Foam

An extinguishing agent consisting of an aggregate of air-filled bubbles, used to smother fires, particularly those involving flammable liquids. It works by separating the fuel from the oxygen and cooling the burning material. Foam concentrates are mixed with water and air to create the finished product, often applied through specialized nozzles.
