Flemish bond

A bricklaying pattern characterized by alternating headers (the short end of the brick) and stretchers (the long side of the brick) in every course. The headers in each course are centered on the stretchers in the course below, creating a distinct and visually appealing pattern. This bond is considered structurally sound and is stronger than a simple stretcher bond but weaker than an English bond.
