Stretcher bond

A common brickwork pattern where all bricks are laid as stretchers, meaning their longest face is exposed on the wall surface. Each course consists of bricks laid end-to-end, with the vertical joints in one course centered over the bricks in the course below. This pattern is often used for non-load-bearing walls or as a veneer, as it does not provide the same structural integrity as bonds with headers.
