Giganewton

A multiple of the newton, the SI derived unit for force, equivalent to one billion (10^9) newtons. This immense unit of force is used in engineering and physics to describe very large loads or thrusts, such as the forces involved in geological events or the thrust produced by large rocket engines. A giganewton is roughly equivalent to the weight of 100,000 metric tons on Earth's surface.
