Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004239
A unit of mass equal to one quadrillion (10¹⁵) grams or one billion metric tons, with the symbol Pg. Due to its immense scale, it is not used for typical industrial measurements but is standard in atmospheric science and climatology for quantifying global inventories of substances.
