GTL
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002681
A logic family of bus signaling technology used for driving electronic signals over a backplane or printed circuit board. Gunning Transceiver Logic (GTL) uses a low-voltage swing, typically around 0.8 volts, and a termination voltage reference to reduce power consumption and electromagnetic interference compared to older logic like TTL. The bus requires termination resistors at both ends to match the characteristic impedance of the transmission line, preventing signal reflections.
