Terminator

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005938

A device or component placed at the end of a transmission line or bus to absorb reflected signals. This prevents signal degradation and interference that can occur when electrical signals encounter an impedance mismatch. Terminators are commonly resistive loads, such as a 50-ohm resistor in coaxial cable systems.
