Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002202
A non-destructive testing method used to characterize and locate faults in cables, transmission lines, and other electrical pathways. It operates by injecting a broadband frequency sweep into the line and analyzing the reflected signals. This technique can identify impedance discontinuities, open circuits, and short circuits along the length of a cable.
