Haze

A cloudy or milky appearance in a transparent material, such as plastic film or glass, caused by light scattering from microscopic imperfections or surface irregularities. This optical defect reduces clarity and can affect the material's aesthetic appeal and functional performance. Haze is measured as a percentage of transmitted light that deviates from the incident beam.
