Honeycomb quilt
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002868
A woven or knitted fabric characterized by a textured, cellular pattern that resembles the hexagonal cells of a honeycomb. The three-dimensional effect is created by a specific weave structure, such as a waffle or piqué weave, which causes some yarns to float and others to be tightly bound, forming raised ridges and hollows. This construction gives the fabric thermal properties and absorbency, making it suitable for blankets and towels.
