Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000603
A quilting fabric printed with a subtle pattern in several shades of one color, so that it reads almost as a solid from a distance while adding visual texture. Quilters use blenders in place of plain solids in a quilt top. In textile spinning, a blender is also a machine that mixes fibers from different bales before carding.
