Heather

A yarn or fabric created by blending fibers of different colors, typically two or more, before spinning or weaving, to produce a mottled or speckled appearance. This technique results in a subtle, multi-toned effect rather than a solid color. Heathered materials are common in knitwear, sportswear, and casual apparel.
