Rep

A type of fabric characterized by prominent transverse ribs or cords, created by using a coarser weft yarn than warp yarn, or by a specific weaving pattern. This construction gives the fabric a durable and textured surface. Rep fabrics are commonly made from silk, wool, or synthetic fibers and are used for upholstery, drapery, and formal wear.
