Intervisible

Describing two points on the Earth's surface from which each point can be seen directly from the other. This condition is necessary for establishing a line of sight for surveying instruments like total stations or theodolites. Obstructions such as terrain features, vegetation, or structures can prevent intervisibility, requiring the selection of alternative survey points or the use of taller instrument setups.
