Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004120
An international urgency signal used in radiotelephone communications to indicate a situation that is serious but does not pose an immediate, grave danger to a vessel or person. The call, repeated three times, has priority over all other communications except for a mayday distress call.
