Pan

A fabricated sheet metal form used in the construction of steel stairs, typically in commercial or industrial buildings. Each pan is welded between the stair stringers to create the shape of a single step, which is then filled with concrete or another material to form the finished tread. This method creates a durable and fire-resistant staircase assembly.
