Skidplate

A protective panel mounted to the underside of a vehicle to shield vulnerable components from damage due to impacts with terrain or debris. Constructed from materials such as steel, aluminum, or high-density plastic, it covers parts like the oil pan, transmission, or differential. Skidplates are frequently found on off-road vehicles and rally cars.
