Parallel

Describing a fold or series of folds made in the same direction, with each fold line parallel to the others. This folding method is used to create documents like brochures, letters, and maps where the panels stack on top of one another. Common examples include the letter fold (or C-fold) and the accordion fold (or Z-fold), both of which are types of parallel folds.
