Parallelogram of forces
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004132
A graphical method used to find the resultant of two concurrent forces. The two forces are represented as adjacent sides of a parallelogram, and their resultant is given by the diagonal drawn from their common point. This principle is derived from vector addition and is widely used in statics and dynamics to analyze force systems.
