Constructive interference

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001314

The phenomenon where two or more waves combine to form a resultant wave of greater amplitude. This occurs when the crests of one wave align with the crests of another, or troughs align with troughs. In electrical engineering, this principle is applied in antenna design to focus radio frequency energy in a specific direction.
