Antenna

A metallic device for transmitting or receiving electromagnetic waves, used for communication, navigation, and remote sensing aboard a vessel. Shipboard antennas are designed for specific frequency bands corresponding to their function, including VHF for short-range voice communication, satellite for global data, and radar for collision avoidance.
