Pent roof

A design feature in an internal combustion engine's cylinder head where the combustion chamber resembles a gabled roof, with two angled surfaces meeting at a central peak. This configuration allows for the placement of multiple valves, typically four per cylinder, arranged in a cross-flow pattern. The pent roof design is common in modern multi-valve engines.
