Photoelectron Spectroscopy, an analytical technique used to study the electronic structure of materials by measuring the kinetic energy of electrons emitted when a sample is irradiated with photons. This method provides information about elemental composition, chemical states, and electronic band structure. X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) is a common variant.
