Phase angle

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004263

The angular difference in time or space between two alternating current (AC) waveforms of the same frequency. It indicates how much one waveform leads or lags another, expressed in degrees or radians. In electrical systems, a non-zero phase angle between voltage and current indicates reactive power, affecting power factor.
