Phase-locked loop
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004264
An electronic circuit that synchronizes an oscillator's output signal with the phase of an input reference signal. It consists of a phase detector, a low-pass filter, and a voltage-controlled oscillator. This system is widely used in radio, telecommunications, and other electronic applications for frequency synthesis, demodulation, and clock recovery.
