Armstrong oscillator

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000277

A type of electronic oscillator circuit that uses a transformer or an autotransformer for feedback to sustain oscillations. It is a tuned-circuit oscillator, often employed in radio frequency applications for generating continuous wave signals. The frequency of oscillation is primarily determined by the inductance and capacitance of the tuned circuit.
