Pigtailed

Describing an electrical component or device that has a short length of wire or fiber optic cable permanently attached, extending from its body. This pre-attached cable simplifies connection to other components or a main wiring harness. For fiber optics, a pigtail has a connector on one end and bare fiber on the other for splicing.
