Pseudoscopy
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004553
The perceptual phenomenon of reversed depth perception, where objects that are normally convex appear concave, and concave objects appear convex. This effect is typically induced by optical instruments like a pseudoscope, which swaps the visual input to each eye. It provides insight into how the brain interprets stereoscopic cues.
