Convex lens

A lens that is thicker in the middle and thinner at the edges, causing parallel rays of light to converge to a single focal point. This type of lens is also known as a converging lens and forms real images when objects are placed beyond its focal length. Magnifying glasses and the human eye's lens are common examples of convex lenses.
