Concavo-convex
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001292
Describing a lens or mirror that has one surface that is concave (curved inward) and the other surface that is convex (curved outward). This type of lens can be either converging or diverging depending on the relative radii of curvature and the refractive index of the material. Meniscus lenses are a common example of concavo-convex optical elements.
