Radial shaft seal

A mechanical component designed to prevent the leakage of fluid or the ingress of contaminants along a rotating shaft. It consists of a flexible sealing lip, usually made of elastomer, that presses against the shaft surface to create a dynamic seal. These seals are widely used in engines, gearboxes, and pumps to maintain lubrication and protect internal components.
