Riveter
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004876
A worker who joins parts with rivets, or the tool or machine that sets them by hammering, squeezing or pulling so that the rivet shank forms a second head. Pneumatic hammers, hydraulic or pneumatic squeezers and blind rivet pullers are the usual types. A blind rivet puller draws a mandrel through the rivet body, which lets it work from one side of the joint.
