Short bus

A type of bus characterized by a shorter wheelbase and body length than a conventional single-decker bus. These vehicles are built on a light-duty or medium-duty truck chassis and are used for transporting smaller groups of people, such as for school routes, shuttle services, or paratransit. A short bus may be equipped with a wheelchair lift to meet accessibility requirements.
