Single curve
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005295
Describing a surface or panel that is curved in only one direction, meaning it can be unrolled or flattened into a two-dimensional plane without stretching or shrinking the material. A cylinder or a cone are examples of single-curved surfaces. In sheet metal fabrication, parts with single curvature are simpler to form than those with compound curves, which bend in multiple directions simultaneously.
