SSD

A data storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently. Unlike traditional hard disk drives (HDDs), SSDs have no moving parts, which results in faster data access, lower power consumption, and greater durability. SSDs are widely used in laptops, desktops, and servers.
