A Solid State Drive, a data storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently. Unlike traditional hard disk drives, SSDs have no moving parts, relying instead on NAND flash memory. This design results in faster data access, lower power consumption, and greater durability compared to HDDs.
