Storage device

Any piece of computing hardware used for storing, porting, and extracting data files and objects. Storage devices can hold and retain information temporarily or permanently, and they can be internal or external to a computer or server. Common examples include hard disk drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs), and USB flash drives.
