TLC
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-007311
A type of NAND flash memory cell that stores three bits of data per cell, known as a Triple-Level Cell. By using eight distinct voltage levels to represent the three bits, TLC increases storage density and reduces the cost per gigabyte compared to single-level or multi-level cell technologies. This memory is found in industrial solid-state drives and embedded systems where high capacity is needed, although it offers lower endurance and performance than more expensive flash memory types.
