Under glass

Describing the cultivation of plants within a protective structure made of glass or a similar transparent material, such as a greenhouse, conservatory, or cold frame. This method creates a controlled microclimate, shielding plants from adverse weather, pests, and extreme temperatures. Growing under glass permits the propagation of tender species, out-of-season production, and the extension of the growing season into colder months.
